Greatest Uites! On the recent and continuous epileptic power supply and disheartening power outage on campus, the Students' Union wishes to express her displeasure about the ugly situation.
It could be recalled that the power outage has been on for some weeks now, and despite our efforts in taking a mediative position ever since in order to ensure that the situation is ameliorated, there seems to be a gridlock.
The inadequate power supply at this time when the weather is in its hottest degree is unbearable and condemnable. Also, water scarcity is beginning to surface in our halls of residence as a result of this ugly situation.
To this end, we are calling the entirety of Greatest Uites to a Massive CONGRESS slated for Saturday, 5th of March, 2016.
Time: 9:00 a.m
Venue: SUB Foyer
As a pressure group, the Students' Union demands that the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) prioritizes the University community in its supply of electricity, and not throw us into abrupt darkness.
While we await the massive convergence of Saturday in which the highest decisions concerning this matter shall be taken, we will continue to CONSULT and CONSOLIDATE. If this approach fails and the ultimatum is not met, we shall CONFRONT!
Anticipate March 5
GOD BLESS OUR UNION
ALUTA CONTNUA, VICTORIA ACERTA!
Signed: Ayantola Alayande Maximus
