Two top female entertainers in Nigeria entertainment industry have been nominated for the 2017 Kids’ Choice Awards.
Pop star, Yemi Alade, Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele-Bello, South Africa's Trevor Noah, actress Lupita Nyong’o, Pearl Thusi and Wayde van Niekerk - have all been nominated in the Favourite African Star category.
The Nigerian pair join a long list of international nominees at this year’s KCAs which also includes; Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Daya, Chris Evans, Idris Elba, Megan Fox, Lukas Graham, Kevin Hart, Scarlett Johansson and Dwayne Johnson.
Others are Felicity Jones, Leslie Jones, Anna Kendrick, Bruno Mars, Melissa McCarthy, JoJo Siwa, The Chainsmokers, Justin Timberlake, Twenty One Pilots and more.
Kids Choice Award is the only live event where kids’ votes count and the biggest stars of the day line up to get slimed. It is aimed at celebrating kids’ favourites from across the worlds of film, television, music and pop culture.
